goodbye

tomorrow we go to say goodbye. we race against time to try be there for the closure. for the one last touch. for the one last kiss. for the one last glance. we say goodbye and hold tight to the memories. for they are what makes this struggle a bit easier. knowing that her struggle and pain will be over makes it a bit more bearable. knowing that she is going to a place so completely and utterly amazing. so much better than the world we live in. and that must be pretty darn unbelievable bc this world is a pretty cool place with some really neat people.

all this doesn't necessarily make saying goodbye easier. it just grants us a reason for the end. an end to an amazing life. an amazing example of love, faith, hard work, and courage.

fifty-seven years they were married. yes, fifty-seven. the fifty-seventh being celebrated just six days ago. he is going to miss her like nobody can imagine. we will miss her like crazy. we already do.

she is truly an inspiration to all....we love you grandma!
